OUR ROLE IN TRANSFORMATION
According to the law of karma and the
theory of reincarnation, you have made yourself into what you are.
Therefore, you alone can remake yourself.
With the desire for transformation, we
open ourselves to the grace that we hear is always present and which
will make change possible.
__________
Since reincarnation is not in the Bible, is it therefore false?
No. If it seems true to you, act
as though it was.
With reincarnation, there is no
need for a vicarious atonement, for a Savior. We become our own
liberators! Lifetime after lifetime!
By believing that we only live
once, it is easier to live carelessly, hoping for the best
afterwards! Harder it is for us to shape the lines of our future
destiny by actions undertaken here and now!
Consider: moral and spiritual
excellence, character development, a loving and enlightened
personality ... isn't this the height of life? But if attributed to
genetic influence or mere upbringing, it loses much of its splendor.
It's more logical to think of our
character developing steadily lifetime after lifetime as a result of
individual effort consciously undertaken.
